Little Doolittle

Emma loves animals!!! Any kind of animal!! If Mommy and Daddy would let her she would have her own pet store set up in our house.

She has wanted to be a Doctor since she was 3 years old...it seems as though Dr. Doolittle is Growing Up Hutchinson. She is so caring and compassionate for all...animals are no exception! A wounded butterfly has made it's mark on Dr. Emma and she has such delight and satisfaction knowing that she helped make this butterfly feel a little better by letting him take a rest from flying right on her finger!
Today, Drew informed her that someday she would have a baby. Emma's reply was " No I won't! I am going to get a dog and a lot of other animals."
So when Emma turned 7 this summer it was no surprise that she wanted to have a puppy dog themed party. It was only fitting that we made a dog bone shaped cake!!!
Perhaps someday we will let her have a new pet! Well, she is raising a bullfrog tadpole so one day we may have a bullfrog. And she checks the mail everyday to see if her caterpillar eggs have arrived so that we can raise butterflies...does that count?
