Instead of turning south at the A1A to go toward Daytona I decided to turn north!!! We ended up at Ormond by the Sea. A small peaceful beach! The shells were nice and the waves were perfect for the kids!
I promised the kids we would get boogie boards!
This made them very happy!
It didn't take them very long to master their boards! I like to think of it as a first step to learning to surf!

Drew had loads of fun!
and so did Emma! In fact, we all had so much fun I may just get a board for myself :)
We finished our day with a long walk along the shore collecting shells!
